Howdy everyone


Things are goin pretty well for us. Preston is continuing to grow and is such a joy to us. We haven't taken too many pictures lately, but I'm posting some of our favorites that we've taken this week.

Sunday was a special day at church. We had our Family Fun Day out at Poche's campground in Breaux Bridge. We had our service, a baptism in the swimmin pool, then lots of food, fishin, and swimmin. It was a great day to hang out with everyone, and Poche's cooks some great food. We had BBQ chicken, sausage, beans, potato salad, rolls, and dessert! Yum! Sunday Chris also revealed the layout for the church property. Everyone was very excited to see what's in the near future for us. The architect did a great job. Now I think we are even more pumped to get things rolling in the direction of breaking ground. This Saturday is a work day out at the property to get it cleaned up a bit.

My parents (Shell's) arrived safely in Qatar. We received an e mail from my dad and it sounds like he's had a blast showing my mom around. Hopefully, they will be all settled in soon....and have their internet hooked up at the villa so we can keep in contact better. Thanks for everyone who was praying for their safe journey.

Preston is pretty much settling in to sleeping all night. He either does the 9pm-4am schedule or the 10pm-5am schedule. Either one works out great because he wakes up to eat and is right back down for another 3 or 4 hours. His hair is becoming more blonde than strawberry blonde, and its getting a little thin on one side of his head. I guess its the side he prefers to lay on.

We are looking forward to our first camping trip with Preston this coming weekend. We're taking the pop-up to Lake Fosse Point. Its pretty close to the house. Chris has had some pretty bad camping fever lately, so we're squeezing in this short trip.
