Preston's party

Preston's party was planned a little early in the hopes that it would come and go before we got too close to Cara's due date. Success! Now Chris says we're keeping our schedules open just for her. Ha ha! The party was lots of fun. Preston helped with most of the planning. He chose a Star Wars party, of course, because its his latest obsession. We cooked hot dogs for everyone, and Preston selected cheetos, snack mix, and lemonade as the perfect sides to compliment the hot dogs.




He chose the particulars about his cake too. This year he wanted a giant cookie cake with M&M's instead of chocolate chips. He also thought his cake should say 'Preston is 4' instead of 'Happy Birthday Preston'. So that's what we did. It was extremely delicious!

The Fun Jump was the only thing he didn't ask for. Chris and I thought it would be fun to keep this part a surprise. We ended up spilling the beans Friday night over dinner when the owner called to ask permission for an early delivery(like Friday night instead of Saturday morning). We ended up keeping the fun jump for almost 24 hours, which was a wonderful surprise! I'm not sure who had more fun jumping and playing in it, Chris or all the kids.
