Preston made this card for me about 2 weeks before Valentine's Day. He also made a fancy envelope all decorated too. Then he put a dollar inside and sealed it up. He hid it in his dresser til Valentine's Day so I wouldn't see. He's so sweet, and thoughtful.
Preston has always enjoyed painting, and he's been enjoying it a lot lately.
Chris has been sewing some beaver mittens for Preston for a while now. He has wanted to do it all winter using some of the beaver we got last summer. Our friend Harriett has shared a pattern with us and has been coming over regularly in the evenings when our schedules allow. They were finally finished this week! Preston is thrilled.

Looks like the mittens turned out really well. I hope he enjoys them. He has learned lids while waiting on them, too. Some special stuff!
