Just one week after returning to Galena, Honey and Pop came for a visit. They were very much looking forward to meeting Evelyn, and we were so glad they could come. It nearly turned out to be a lot more 'adventure' than they expected when the morning of their flight to Galena, Chris discovered our sewer was frozen. Thankfully, it wasn't really serious, and he was able to get everything thawed and in working condition again before they landed in Galena. That was partly made possible because Mom and Dad's plane had mechanical issues and needed to return to Fairbanks and be exchanged for a different plane. We are very thankful for working plumbing!

Honey and Pop brought lots of goodies, and one of those things was a new .22 for Clint. Luckily we were having a warm spell with temps between 0 and 30 F, so Chris decided to take a trip out on sno go to go shooting. So Pop, Chris, Preston, Clint, and Clint's 'twin', Owen went out. They had a very good time.

One of my goals was to get into a more regular school routine while Mom and Dad were here helping. So, they were on Evelyn duty while I got the kids started on school, and when I needed to work one on one, the other two filtered out to spend time with Honey and Pop...and Evelyn. They also helped with dishes, laundry, cleaning, and transporting kids.

Pop was able to stay for a week, so we had to send him off, but we got to keep Honey for an extra week. We had a lot of fun, and enjoyed all the help they both were!

Definitely lots of fun! We did stay busy with one thing or another. So much fun especially since there was a warm spell and we could go out some.
