Rejoicing over these two beautiful girls today!  Evelyn, 3 months old, likes spending time with Cara because she is so entertaining!  Cara will rock her, read to her, help me give her a bath, help dress her, sing to her, and the list could go on and on.  (Also, the boys fight over helping do these things with her too!  Its an everyday happening that we have to be willing to take turns with her.)

I am happy to see her tummy maturing, and that means less spit up and choking, which means she can now sleep on her mattress like normal.  Speaking of sleeping, Evelyn is a fantastic sleeper!  She wakes only when she's hungry at night, which is becoming less and less, and during the day she's still sleeping the majority of our wake time.

Also, at 3 months Evelyn is laughing!  She and Cara shared a 'milestone' day with different accomplishments.  Cara learned to ride her bike by herself, and Evelyn laughed for the first time.

Cara got a wash, cut, and curl

I had promised to curl Cara's hair on her birthday, a treat I don't often indulge her in, but when the birthday day came, we were in a rush getting to church.  The next opportune time, we included a hair cut with the curl session.  She'd been asking for a cut, and honestly her hair was a little dried out from her swimming this spring.  We cut about 6 inches off.

This picture above is the reason my days aren't as productive as they should be.  It is just too easy to get sucked into her cuteness, but we gladly let it happen as we are reminded how fast they grow and change.  So, for this phase of life, we are enjoying all the snuggles we can get.
