late night update

Hello everyone!

Its been a while. Hope this finds all of you doing well. Lots of things been going on for everyone....

Down here in our neck of the woods....

My parent's house is under contract . Woo-hoo! I think Jon is the most excited about this because that means no more showing the house....he's tired of keeping everything perfect and being scooted out the door all the time.

Speaking of Jon...school has started back up. Jon and Chris survived their first week. Chris is learning Hebrew this semester, so he's got a LOT of studying to do.

Chris stayed the night in Alexandria tonight after school to attend the Church Planter's Conference. He was very upset that he had to go to school today and miss the first day of the conference, but he's really looking forward to the second day.

Preston is doing well. He has finally figured out rolling over. He's also sitting pretty well. I still keep my hands close by because he tends to teeter over when he sees something that makes him excited. He's laughing a lot now. He thinks Sam and Maggie are the funniest for now, expecially Maggie playing ball. Chris can get him to laugh too. He started taking a pacifier sometimes when he's going to sleep. He's not dependent on it yet, so I guess we'll have to wait and see on that. He's really good at grabbing whatever he wants now. His hair is very thin right now. All the strawberry blonde is falling out, and the new hairs are white blonde. He's still a very happy and content baby, and very social so far. When he's having a bad teething day he's pretty much attached to my hip if I want to get anything done, but if i don't have big plans we sit, read, and rock a lot,which he finds soothing. Watching Sam and Maggie distracts him pretty well, so we do a little bit of that too.
