Also, Chris' brother's family has been in town the last week, and we've been spending lots of time with them. Greg, Aimee, Caleb, Elena, Nate, and Maw Maw and Paw Paw all came to Lafayette. We went camping, swimming, shopping, had a fish fry, and celebrated Maw Maw and PAw Paw Kopp's 60th wedding anniversary with the rest of the Kopps in Crowley. Whew! It was lots of fun, but we're all worn out. Today is a catch up day for Preston and me.

We're getting very excited about our upcoming trip to Alaska. Hopefully, Preston will not make the trip a dreadful one. It'll be 18 hours from the time we leave Lafayette until we arrive in Galena. We're planning ahead and making special effort to bring lots of small compact entertainment for the flights. I'm sure we'll survive.

We still have 3 puppies left. Last weekend we got several calls for black males, but we've only got females. The pups are getting big and still absolutely adorable. We're trying not to get attached while waiting to find them homes.

Preston is nearly 17 months old. He's got 14 teeth, is talking more, and is still a ball of moving energy! He's had the best time playing with his cousins while they were here. We'll see them again in a few weeks when we all meet up in Galena. This time I'm sure he will remember them.

Great news....Another boy. Preston will love having a baby brother. Glad to hear that Mom and baby are doing fine. Did your mom tell you that we are having another grandchild? Leah will be a big sister in February. Don't know yet if it is a boy or girl but we will love whatever it is. Have a safe and fun trip to Alaska. Nan E/Elaine
Loved looking at all of the pictures from vacation. I would love to have played in the little water park for the kids too. I am glad Preston go to meet his cousins again. I think he is going to be really good on the trip. Hope so anyway. Hope all of the pups are gone soon.
