Hello everyone
Just a quick update. Labor Day was lots of fun. Our friends Shane, Jeannine, and Claire came to visit. Here's a few pics of our time together. We had a major downpour and the water backed up on our street, turning Melody Drive into Melody River.
A few days after the first downpour....another one! This is what Chris calls our Cajun Waterfront Property. (here one hour, gone the next!)
We are packing packing packing. Actually, Chris is at school and I'm getting ready to pack. We're getting ready for our trip to Alaska. Chris is "goin on a bear hunt...gonna find a big one..." (you know the song). Anyways it'll be the first time all three brothers have been hunting since Chris was a child. We're very excited and looking forward to a vacation!

Glad you put the Melody river on. It is amazing how quick it rises and how quick it goes back down.

Wow, your street really floods!!! I bet Preston had a blast "swimming" in the river!
