It is finished

This photo is courtesy of Preston.  I thought it was quite candid featuring our hunter returning home after a long week seeking meat.  We were hoping Chris would be able to help someone in the field with a downed moose, but all hunts were unsuccessful.  We were still thankful for safety and good spirits, and we were able to get a full meat freezer, just not in the way we expected.  Meat is regularly given to the boarding school Chef when hunting guides need to find someplace to share meat from their customers who mainly seek trophy antlers, not meat.  So we, and several other families at church in our same situation, were able to get some meat from the school.  We butchered it, and returned 50% to be given to elders and used at the school.  We were also able to get meat from others in town who were successful and had plenty.  It was a long tiring month, but it is finished, and for that we are thankful. :)

Nice picture, Preston!! Not only did he get a good shot of Chris, but the whole kitchen/dining area. The new dining table looks really nice! Really good picture! Also glad everything with the meat worked out so well.
