Five little Kopps all dressed to search for our first Christmas Tree in Galena. We were very excited to ride on the snow machine and very excited about picking out our tree.

Cara loves being outside like the boys, and she also loves eating the snow like them too.

This is my favorite photo of Cara right now! She was making a snow angel like everyone else, and I happened to capture her excited face in this one.
And away we go...only Cara rode on the snow machine with me and Chris.
We found it. Right in our 'back yard'.

Random Cara photos. I thought her bow was really cute, and yes, she is trying to eat that balloon. Only she says it like Bih-yoon.
She's a taggie lover.

And here we are. Chris worked really hard to get this tree in the tree stand. It fought back and poked him in the eye. No major damage, to Chris anyways. In case you weren't aware, Spruce trees in Galena are very thirsty, and we let this one suffer for too long before treating it to some water. Sooo, this lovely tree featured here died (well, started dropping needles everywhere and we threw it out). You will be happy to know that Christmas Tree number two has replaced this one and is faring quite well. We offer it water every day!

Wow! You Jay and Jon look more and more alike as each year goes by. I love these pics. Cara with her taggie. The tree. The boys. The individual face shots on their snow gear. Glad it was such a fun experience. Sad the first tree didn't make it. At least the second one is alive and well.
Love the posts and the pictures. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. Sounds like you are having a wonderful celebration of Our Saviour's Birth.
