Preston is growing up into a big kid now. Definitely no more preschooler. We're thankful he is maturing, and its fun to see him learning so many new things. He's doing very well in school and it seems to come easily for him. His new chore to help out the family is to feed and water the dogs after dinner. For the first few weeks he's done really well. Hopefully, it will continue. He's learned how to do lots of other chores and cleaning around the house. He's also helpful to Clint and Cara when he fixes a cup of milk for them in the morning. Milk is serious business in our house. He loves everything outdoors and still isn't into sports too much. He enjoys reading, well, being read to, and is extremely creative.
Chris and I made a pinata for part of the festivities. It was a fun project for us to work on together, and it turned out pretty good considering we'd never made one before.
Cake time!! Cara had a Tres de Leche cake with whipped topping and Preston wanted a dirt and worms cake.
Let's sing!
The pinata lasted through everyone getting 2 turns, at which point Chris decided to help it along. Not long after, everyone was able to enjoy some candy. Happy birthday Cara and Preston!!

What a wonderful party for two very special people.
I was wondering when we would get to see the pinata. Wish we could have had a movie of the pinata part. I know the internet is too slow though. Looks like fun was had by all. Cara's birthday dress looked so pretty on her. Nice that they could have the party together and have so much fun.
1. Preston is a Chris clone. You could have been describing him.
2. Those cakes look amazing.
