In Lafayette we had such a great time with Chris' parents. We traveled altogether to see Maw Maw and stayed a few days. While we were closer to New Orleans, we visited the aquarium one day. So here's some photos from that week.
Sleeping beauty: Cara wanted to sleep in my bed. Even though I told her no, she snuck in and fell asleep after I had tucked her in for the night in her own bed.
Cara ate her first ice cream cone this summer.

At the aquarium, Cara loved the sea horses. In one of the tanks they had just had babies and you could see hundreds of them swimming around. So cool!
We had fun watching the activity on the water.
The kids would have been content to spend the day feeding the parakeets.

A neighbors lonely cat wondered over to visit and my kids were all over it like white on rice. It was really friendly and nice.
