spring is great

Hi,

Hope everyone is doing good. I'm just so happy that springtime is here. The weather has been absolutely wonderful. To celebrate the nice weather we've spent lots of time outside since Preston loves it so much. We go the park every week with some friends, but we fed the ducks for the first time this past week. Preston was very impressed so I'm sure we'll be doing it again sometime soon. We go walking in the morning, and play outside in the evening. He just can't get enough outside! We made a family trip to the park last Sunday afternoon. It was a nice family outing. Chris enjoyed his first trip to the park with us, and afterwards he suggested we stop for ice cream before getting home for an afternoon nap.

absolutely the CHEESIEST picture I've ever taken of Preston

walking up and down a hill is a special thrill for him

Chris has been extra busy working on a few remodeling projects for friends and family. We're hoping to use the extra money to finish up little detail projects around our house that we've been meaning to do for a while now. Also, Chris got a portable table saw that he's very excited about to help him with upcoming projects.

Mr. Preston has been a very good boy lately. Changing, changing, changing. He's busier than ever, but getting much better about listening to instruction. He's talking a lot, but we have no clue what he's saying. He tries to bark like the dogs whenever he hears them. Its very funny. He also points at objects that he wants and then points to himself, so I guess he's developing his own sign language to tell us what he wants. He knows lots of words, but isn't interested in saying them yet. Some of the obvious ones are outside, night night, bath, eat, milk, bye bye, ball, book, dog, bike......the list goes on. He likes clapping, giving five, and playing chase right now. He is very attracted to anything with a motor. His favorite household items are the broom, sweeper, TV remote, dog's feeding bowls, phones, and clothes hamper. When Chris got his table saw, Preston was insistent on helping Chris put it together. He was very attracted and curious about Chris' tools, so he recently got his own tool set.. He thinks its pretty cool...

Well, that's about it for now. Until next time...
