May Already?

Wow, this year seems to be going by very quickly!!!

Here's a quick update:

With the weather turning warmer, Preston has been swimming nearly every day. He's loving it. Uncle Jon bought him the swimming pool for his birthday. Preston's started saying a few words: bye-bye (sounds like die-die), eat (eeee), Maggie (gee), dog (doe). He can also moo like a cow and bark like a dog.

Getting ready to slide....

I went with a group of ladies to a women's retreat in Lake Charles last Friday and Saturday. The theme was becoming a Vessel of Honor. We all really enjoyed getting away, building friendships, and learning some practical ways to become a vessel of honor in God's eyes. My wonderful husband was willing to watch Preston even though he had papers to write for school and plenty of other projects he could have been working on. Who would rather do homework than play with this adorable little boy??!

Sunday was my dad's birthday. He made the big 5-0, and we celebrated with BBQ and cake after church. Of course, then we all played the Wii, and we watched Preston play in a big box....pure entertainment. It was lots of fun.

Chris is counting down the days until school is finished. May 14th is his last day.

My parents are still waiting on their paperwork to officially accept the job in Sugarland. They are very anxious and excited to get things moving in that dircetion. They've been able to accomplish some tasks while they've been waiting though.

Chris parents have just finished the landscaping around the pool in their backyard. They've also gotten in and tested the water the past 2 evenings, and they both said the temperature is tolerable. We'll have to get over there soon and check it all out.

Oh, and this is what Preston did while I was writing the previous post. He really enjoyed himself....little stinker.

Those are the news highlights for the Kopp family. Hope you've enjoyed this post, and we're looking forward to reading your comments.
