Riffenhook

Riffenhook is a 10 day long Music Festival for students in Galena every Spring.  This is the first year any of our kids have been able to participate.  Usually we enjoy watching the concert to close out the festival, because the kids aren't old enough to participate, but last year we missed the whole thing because we'd traveled to Anchorage for meetings.  Preston signed up for the drumming class and Clint got to attend even though he was younger than required because they had room for him.

This was towards the end of the week, and the kids were practicing in a drum line.  Pretty fun!

The boys and I missed the end of festival performance, but Chris and Cara got to go.  They even got all dressed up for their date.  I heard it was a great performance with powwow drumming, native dancing, and a little musical theater.

If you've ever wondered where she gets her 'silly' from...

Cool to see all of the pictures that you have talked about. Clint finally got to play drums. Awesome for him! Great pictures with Cara and Chris, too.
